About
Meet Jimmy England.
“I've been shooting since the film days, and while a lot has changed, the fundamentals are still the same. I simply want to find the best light to capture your best life.”
I started behind a film camera — slow, deliberate, with a finite number of frames per roll. That discipline shaped how I shoot today. Even with a fast mirrorless and a tethered laptop, the question is the same one I asked at sixteen with a beat-up Pentax: where is the light, and what is it doing to the subject?
Over the years that question has taken me into living rooms for family portraits, onto sidelines for athletes, into board rooms for headshots, and up a thousand feet for aerial work. I'm FAA Part 107 licensed for commercial drone photography, and I shoot 3D virtual tours for real estate, vacation rentals, and interior designers.
What I care about most is the same across every session — finding a moment that feels true, and putting it in good light. That's the whole job.
